ACC ESSEX PLUSH Carpet Samples are sold individually and measure approximately 2x2" each. Please allow 2-3 business days for processing. All samples are mailed via US First Class Mail.

  • Essex is composed of 100% Nylon yarn.
  • Tufted to a 1/10 gauge cut pile, Essex contains 22.5 ounces of yarn per square yard giving it a luxurious and plush look and feel.
  • Essex has been available as an aftermarket material choice since the late 2000's. It is a premium,modern version of the Cut Pile material. It can be specified for almost any model vehicle.
  • Essex material is available with our optional Mass Backing. Mass backing is an approximately 45mil thick EVA material. It's a great sound and heat barrier and increases the overall look of the carpet after installation.
  • Essex material width is 78 inches.

5 of 5 Essex plush for dodge extended cab April 4, 2025

I previously ordered a different brand from summit racing a few years back while restoring this truck.  I never checked the fit until recently and found their custom fit carpet was more than a foot short.

I decided to try out this carpet from auto interiors and am very pleased it is exactly the right fit, and the quality of the essex plush is far superior to the pro line from summit racing and they were the same price.  Also the shipping is faster as summit took 4-5 weeks my auto interiors came within a week.

I received the samples but I had ordered other samples from other places. Only the ACC ones were marked as to exactly where they came from. I had already placed an order before the samples came. Oops on my part.

I bought some carpet samples to choose a color for replacement carpet for the front of my 1996 Ford E350 camper conversion van.  The samples arrived very quickly and the carpet (Essex Plush) is very nice indeed!  I am looking forward to ordering a full carpet.

2”x2” samples are a little small, however I understand the reasoning for the size from a business stand point. Samples where individually marked with product number on the back, which was nice for thought on ACC’s part. Ordered full carpet based on sample. Worked out very nicely.
