Q
|
Can I wash my Window Canvas?
YES. Window
Canvases may be washed with normal soap and
water by hand. They are also safe for most
automated car-washes. Use care if high
pressure cleaning in a "do-it-yourself" carwash
and hold the pressure washer no closer than 12"
to your Window Canvas.
|
|
Q |
May I use my rear window heater?
YES. Use of
your rear window heater in both snow and rain is
recommended and will not damage your Window
Canvas. By using heat, you speed up the
drying process of any water that may be
temporarily suspended in the micro-perforations
of your Window Canvas.
|
|
Q |
Will my Window Canvas come off when I don't
need it anymore?
YES. While
your Window Canvas has a permanent adhesive that
will last for many years, it should come off
simply by peeling it off, beginning at the upper
left or right corner and proceeding, to slowly
remove it. Window Canvases that have been
in place for more than 6 months may take
slightly more force to remove or require the use
of a scraping edge.
|
|
Q |
Any special things I should be aware of?
YES. During
periods of rain, snow or if your Window Canvas
gets wet, the micro-perforations will fill up
with water and reduce visibility through your
Window Canvas. We recommend that you do
NOT operate your vehicle until it is dry, which
you may do with a towel.
If you choose to operate
your vehicle with reduced visibility, YOU DO SO
AT YOUR OWN RISK.
|
|
Q |
Anything I shouldn't
do?
Do NOT use ice
scrapers on your Window Canvas. Do NOT use
abrasives or solvent cleaners on your Window
Canvas. Do NOT use your rear wiper on your
Window Canvas.
|
|
Q |
What sizes do Window Canvas come in?
Window Canvases
come in three sizes to fit MOST vehicles (cars,
trucks, and SUV's) form end to end, with no
glass visibility. Application of a Window
Canvas on certain vehicles with oversized
windows may result in some glass visible around
the outer edges. Standard Window Canvas
Sizes are:
Car: 38" x 60"
Truck: 20" x 65"
SUV: 29" x 66" Sm Truck:
17" X 56"
